On Heaven

Introduction & Christian Worldview

Before asking what Heaven is like, Dr. Jory establishes a Christian framework for understanding who human beings are, why we exist, and where our identity comes from.

The Human Condition

This module moves from the question “Who are we?” to why human beings die, what has gone wrong with creation, what happens when we die, and how anyone can have eternal life.

Heaven, Paradise & Hell

The course now moves directly into the biblical descriptions, terminology, and nature of Heaven, Paradise, and Hell.

Places of the Dead & Resurrection

A more technical section examining biblical terminology for the places of the dead and the timing and nature of resurrection.

Life in Heaven

This module addresses practical and deeply personal questions about what life in Heaven will actually be like.

Loose Ends

Dr. Jory explicitly uses “Loose Ends” for this final section, which addresses angels, suffering, the age of accountability, and near-death experiences.
